Apples are a great source of vitamins and minerals as well as fibre, and they can help you maintain a healthy weight; thats about it. Theyre no better or worse than any other fruit or vegetable! Obviously, if youre swapping fatty, sugary snacks for an apple, youre making a choice which will improve your diet and overall health (3). But this doesnt mean theres no need to see a doctor regularly for blood pressure checks and overall health check ups.
