    Crater Lake Oregon

Crater Lake happens to be a caldera lake situated in south central Oregon in west of United States. This lake almost partially fills up a deep caldera having a depth of 2,148foot and was formed about 7,700 years ago due to the collapse of the Mount Mazama volcano. This lake is well known for its clear water and deep blue colour and is the prime attraction of the Crater Lake National Park. The lake is supposed to be the deepest within the United States. Surprisingly, no rivers flow into the lake the water in the lake is only compensated by rains and snowfall.
